Our Services
Deltha Wind differentiates itself
from other service companies with:
Specialization
(i) Various Access Methods – Ropes, Cranes, and Platforms;
(ii) In-house Engineering Team – Specific work instructions developed by the engineering team;
(iii) Technology – Continuous technological development of processes, materials, and new equipment (e.g., LEP – leading Edge Protection) one shot, Romotion Cam (Turbine inspection without stopping);
(iv) Specific Work Plan for each turbine.
Applications of services offered
We operate both on the field and in the manufacturing and repair of blades within the facility.
Documentation Process
Development of documents by our own Engineering and Quality Analyst team;
Opening of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs);
Inspection Reports;
Repair and Installation Procedures;
Final Report.
Receipt and inspection in the field, as well as in the manufacturing of towers, blades, and nacelles
Inspection at the factory, with relevant items on the checklist, such as:
- Checking for cosmetic damage on the surface;
- Verifying item completeness;
- Recording the serial number for report traceability;
- Upon arrival at the final destination, a new inspection is conducted to ensure that there has been no damage or missing sub-items during transport.
Cleaning and treatment of corrosion
It is a process of removing the affected area using a specific product and applying an anti-corrosive product or replacing the item if a level of corrosion beyond the allowed limit is detected.
Scrap of blades and nacelles
The process of scrapping condemned blades. The blades are cut into parts according to the procedure and stored in containers for proper disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.
Blade repowering
Increasing the blade length by approximately 3 to 4 meters, enhancing wind utilization capacity and improving turbine performance.
Note: No need to dismantle the blades.
Blade rebalancing
When there is a need to replace a turbine blade, the new blade is weighed, and a new balance calculation is performed with the other two blades on the same tower, forming a new set. In this operation, material needs to be added according to the engineering specifications before the wind turbine goes into operation.
Turbine cleaning (blades, towers, and nacelles)
During the lifespan of turbines, various situations can lead to oil, grease, or other substances accumulating, which not only affect energy efficiency but also pose visual and safety concerns for technicians accessing them. To address this, we perform the removal of these substances using specific cleaners.
Structural and cosmetic repairs of blades and nacelles (fiberglass)
These processes involve sanding damaged areas caused by impacts, lightning, or corrosion. The damaged regions are sanded down and then reconstructed according to standards, involving lamination, curing, preparation, finishing, and painting.
Production process auditing and inspection
Audits and inspections are conducted during the manufacturing process to ensure that everything produced meets the client’s required standards.
Internal (confined space) and external inspections (IRATA) or with the assistance of telescopes or drones
These processes involve monitoring the progression of damages, such as cracks and delamination. Through inspections, it is possible to determine the appropriate timing for repairs, categorizing defects based on their severity.
